Treasury Minister says issue is a 'top priority' ahead of bank holiday
Some pensions due for early collection today are not available.
Government says it's experiencing technical issues around the payments normally collected at branches of the Isle of Man Post Office.
However it says all pensions will be available on Saturday and online payments won't be affected.
The Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan has said in a statement that he's aware this may affect more people than normal because it's a bank holiday on Friday.
He adds that it's being "treated as a top priority by Social Security staff and GTS."
If anyone cannot wait until Saturday they are asked to call Social Security on 685176.
