The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association conference is under way at the Villa Marina in Douglas.
It's the 43rd gathering of the British Isles and Mediterranean region.
The opening address was given by the Lieutenant Governor, Vice Admiral Sir Paul Haddacks, after
Isle of Man branch chairman of the CPA Clare Christian, MLC, had welcomed delegates to the Island.
The main theme of the conference is technology, which was referred to by Mrs Christian in her remarks:
