19-year-old denies Class B drug offences

A teenager from Castletown will stand trial after being accused of making his own ‘vape juice’ and trying to send it to the UK.

Ryan Alexander Woodworth, of Orry Place, denies two offences of possessing controlled Class B drugs with intent to supply.

The offences were allegedly committed on 8 March.

The 19-year-old also pleaded not guilty to two offences of being concerned in the production of controlled drugs five days prior on 3 March.

Over two hearings at Douglas Courthouse the deputy high bailiff was told the offences centre around allegations that the teen created the compounds for 15 vials of vape liquid.

Summary jurisdiction was accepted; a pre-trial review will take place on 20 October.

Bail continues.
