19-year-old remanded at Isle of Man Prison

A teenager from Douglas will stand trial after denying possessing more than £2,600 of criminal cash.

Puwanut Khueanok, of Merton Bank, appeared at Douglas Courthouse where he entered a not guilty plea to the offence.

The 19-year-old has also been charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply and possessing cannabis; the offences are all said to have taken place on 9 December last year.

Committal proceedings – where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery – will take place on 6 March.

There was no application for bail and he was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison.
