Case on course for committal later this month
A 14-year-old accused of the murder of another teenager has appeared in court this morning (2 July).
The juvenile, who can't be named for legal reasons, appeared at Douglas Courthouse via video link and spoke only to confirm his name.
He was charged after 14-year-old Christopher McBurnie died as a result of a stab wound in Ramsey in May.
His advocate confirmed the case is on course for committal proceedings to take place later this month.
The teenager will remain on remand until his next appearance on 16 July.
