Allegedly broke into Peel Shoprite after smashing window with brick
A teenager accused of stealing wine from a supermarket after smashing his way in with a brick has been remanded in custody.
Seventeen-year-old Morgan John Ritchie of Derby Road in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse.
He's pleaded not guilty to burglary at Shoprite on Michael Street in Peel on 11 July.
A bail application was denied by magistrates, who remanded him in secure accommodation until his next court appearance on 27 October.
