'Ivan from the Isle of Man' heard about her condition in the national press
A teenager living in Guisborough in the UK has received a life-changing gift this Christmas from a mystery Manx donor.
Autumn Bradley underwent treatment for a rare medical condition thanks to a financial donation from someone calling themselves 'Ivan from the Isle of Man'.
The fifteen-year-old needed the operation to correct her sternum which was effectively squashing her heart and lungs.
Prior to the onset of her condition, she was a keen athlete and represented her county.
However, before the surgery the teenager's physical health had deteriorated so much she wasn't able to blow up a balloon.
The mysterious 'Ivan from the Isle of Man' had read about Autumn's condition in the national press and so made the donation to help fund her operation.
