Eighteen-year-old accused of bringing Class A & B's to Island
A teenager accused of bringing more than £70,000 of class A and B drugs to the Island has appeared in court.
Eighteen-year-old Matthew John George Williams of May Hill in Ramsey appeared via a live videolink from the Isle of Man prison before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse.
He’s pleaded guilty to possessing a psychedelic drug called “Doc” in Ramsey on 12 May and producing 1.7 kilos of cannabis to the Island on 30 November.
Williams also entered no plea to producing 1,466 ecstasy tablets worth more than £21,000 on 2 December.
Mrs Hughes remanded him in custody until 2 February, when committal proceedings to a Court of General Gaol Delivery will take place.
