A teenager from Douglas has become the 800th volunteer for local charity CIRCA.
16-year old Emma Short signed-up with the organisation which recruits volunteers for a wide range of charities and now gives up her Saturdays to help out at the OXFAM shop in Douglas.
CIRCA produces a database of charities and their services to ensure as many Island residents as possible know what help is on offer.
It also runs the Shopmobility scheme, providing disabled people with wheelchairs and scooters to get round town.
CIRCA director Margaret Brown presented Emma with flowers and a voucher to mark the milestone recruitment.
