17-year-old denies headbutting mother
A teenager from Douglas will stand trial after being accused of headbutting his mother.
Kyle James Reeder, of Peveril Road, denied assaulting her during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse.
The 17-year-old also entered not guilty pleas to damaging her property – after allegedly smashing a Samsung TV – and possession of £52 worth of cannabis.
The offences are said to have taken place at their home address in the early hours of 13 November.
A pre-trial review will take place on 19 December; there was no application for bail and he was remanded in custody until that date.

Update: The charges of causing damage to property and common assault were dismissed. He's next due to appear in court on 8 April 2025.
