The war between two Manx telecom firms has stepped up a couple of notches.
Cable and Wireless (which operates Sure mobile services in the Island) claims Manx Telecom is charging customers substantially more to call Cable and Wireless mobile phone users than it charges to call MT mobile customers.
"Unfair!", C and W claims.
It's putting forward a petition of doleance, a legal device used to try and further a complaint.
The charge is 'an alleged breach of the Fair Trading Condition in MT’s Licence'.
Andy Bridson, chief commercial officer of Cable & Wireless, says they have exhausted every avenue and claims that, despite best efforts, the Communications Commission has refused to investigate the matter further.
'We have no other choice but to take legal actions,' he adds.
