Chief Minister Allan Bell says a temporary arrangement is in place to cover for the attorney general while he’s on leave from Tynwald.
50 year old Stephen Harding is on bail and due to appear in court on November 21 charged with conspiring to commit an act against public justice, perjury and three counts of forgery.
Onchan MHK Zac Hall asked the Chief Minister a question for written answer about what will happen during Mr Harding’s absence.
Mr Bell said an acting Head of Chambers had been appointed and an arrangement with the Clerk of Tynwald meant the court would still be able to seek legal advice during sittings.
