Move made instead of dedicated hours
Tesco says elderly shoppers will be given priority as the Island enters its second coronavirus lockdown.
The supermarket says instead of implementing dedicated hours, which caused issues it says last year, it will now give priority to more vulnerable shoppers.
There are cleaning stations at the door as well as in the store itself, and there are separate entry and exit points.
Tesco says where possible only one person per trolley, as it's also operating a one-in one-out system.
The two-metre social distancing markings are back.
