Castletown is the first to be converted from Shoprite
The first rebranded Tesco store opens its doors in Castletown today. (8am Thursday 15 February)
In October last year, the supermarket chain announced it was taking over all nine Shoprite stores on the Island.
While many are excited about the move, a number of concerns have been raised - particularly about how many local producers and suppliers will be seen on the shelves.
But Store Director Andy Sanderson is determined to reassure people about Tesco's intentions:
