Douglas-based ExoTechnologies has completed testing on the world’s first fully recyclable motorcycle helmet, made entirely from resin-free materials.

Jeroen Wats explained that while carbon fibre has long been the material of choice for strength and performance, its production has significant environmental consequences.
He added that while the shell of the helmet has been successfully developed, further testing could take up to two years to complete:
