St George’s footballer Liam Cowin has contacted Manx Radio on behalf of the Cowin family to publicly thank people for their support.
Twenty-five-year-old Gareth passed away on Wednesday in South Korea, where he was preparing to represent the Island in the Winter Games.
He had represented the Island in football and hockey in recent years and a minute’s applause was held at every local football and hockey match yesterday in his memory.
