Director says new platform would have a role to play in the national conversation
A proposed new national TV station for the Island will be 'by the people, with the people, and for the people' - those the words of 'That's Media Group' director Kent Walwin.
He announced yesterday (4 May), during the Celtic Media Festival, that an expression of interest had been made by the Group, the largest local TV network in England, to create a dedicated Manx TV channel.
With the assistance of the Isle of Media Partnership, That's Media want to create more job opportunities in the Manx media industry and play a 'critical role' in the Island's 'national conversation'.
