Plans for a major shake-up of government are being challenged by a group of MHKs, who've come up with their own set of proposals.
The six, who were voted into the House of Keys at the last General Election are Juan Watterson, Tim Crookall, Graham Cregeen, Geoff Corkish, David Quirk and Bill Malarkey.
They're unhappy the Council of Ministers has rejected a report's recommendations to reduce the scope of Government in the Island.
The group says CoMin's response amounts to a 're arranging of deck chairs' and does nothing to reduce costs.
Rushen MHK Juan Watterson says they'll call on Tynwald to delay a decision until July, leaving time for more public debate on the issue.
