A well known face - and voice - on the Island is to retire from her long term position at the Post Office.
Dot Tilbury will leave her role as General Manager of Isle of Man Stamps & Coins next month.
She will be replaced by Maxine Cannon who has worked for the Post Office since 1981, most recently as Sales and Marketing Manager for stamps and coins.
Dot joined the Post Office in 1975 and has headed up the stamps and coins division for the last 15 years. She's been instrumental in producing unique and topical stamp issues which have been seen around the world.
Outside of her professional life she's equally well known as a driving force in Junior Manx cycling, for which she received the MBE in 2006. She's also renowned for performing her own songs and poems on stages large and small across the Island.
