Mr Duff described as 'Island's best-known WW2 veteran'
The Royal British Legion has announced 'an evening with Hector Duff'.
Described by organisers as the Island's "best-known veteran of World War II", Duff has spent many years visiting schools and speaking publicly about his experiences in service.
That includes taking part in the D-Day landings, whilst he was in the seventh armoured division between 1940 and 1945.
The evening is set to take place on Friday 2 August, at the legion club on Market Hill in Douglas, not long before Mr Duff's 100th birthday later this year.
Proceeds will be going to charity, and tickets are available from the legion.
