To berth next Saturday
A tall ship will be making a stop in Douglas harbour a week today, as it journeys around the British Isles.
The Lord Nelson is one of only two fully-accessible tall ships in the world.
Its trip is a joint effort between the Jubilee Sailing Trust and Barclays.
For the Isle of Man to Liverpool leg, 12 of the bank's staff from here and nine from Merseyside will crew the vessel, along with 15 disabled or disadvantaged Islanders chosen by local charities.
The Lord Nelson will be berthed between 10am and 1.30pm next Saturday, when people will be able to go aboard.
