A pair of Manx fashion designers have been given the presidential seal of approval during Barack Obama’s state visit to the UK.
Yesterday (Tuesday), First Lady Michelle Obama was photographed in a blue fitted jacket and two-in-one dress from top brand Preen.
The fashion house is run by Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi, both of whom are from the Island.
And the look could be yours from July, when the outfit goes on sale in Harrods.
While the political press focussed on the talks and meetings the US president is having in Britain, the eyes of the fashion world were firmly on Kate Middleton, Samantha Cameron and Michelle Obama.
The American First Lady was photographed stepping off the plane in the outfit by the avant-garde brand.
Preen by Thornton Bregazzi was launched in 1996 and has become a regular sight on New York Fashion Week’s catwalk.
The ensemble will go on sale in Harrods from July for around £1,400.
