Pit stop around the Commonwealth continues
The Queen’s Baton has arrived on the Island.
A party, including Chief Minister Howard Quayle and Commonwealth Games Association officials, greeted its arrival on Manx soil at Ronaldsway.
It’s the baton’s 43rd stop on a symbolic tour of Commonwealth nations ahead of the 2018 games on Australia's Gold Coast.
President of the Isle of Man Commonwealth Games Association, Basil Bielich, says it’s ideal timing.
To keep up to date with the progress of the Queen’s Baton across the Island, follow Manx Radio on Facebook for Live Video updates from Michelle Jamieson throughout the day on both Saturday and Sunday.
