Data collected by the Department of Local Government and the Environment confirms sea temperatures around the Isle of Man are rising!
The department keeps records of seawater temperatures around the British Isles which show that an increasing number of 'warm water' species which are able to survive in winter are appearing in fishermen's catches.
Red mullet, black bream, cuttlefish and spider crabs are among those recorded in recent years.
