He’s grumpy and he hisses quite a lot but his owners are desperate to have him back!
Rupert, a 12-inch-long Greek spur-thigh tortoise which is on the endangered species list, has been missing from home in Woodside Terrace in Douglas since last Friday.
Owner Kevin Walton doesn’t know if he’s just disappeared or stolen but is keen to get him back.
Anyone who finds the tortoise, who is microchipped, is asked to take him to the nearest police station.
Alternatively, anyone with information should contact police headquarters on 631212.
