Peel Post Office to close 7 July

A new provider for Isle of Man Post Office in Peel has been appointed following the announcement the current post office is due to close.

From 10 July SPAR will be offering counter services and parcel collection.

The arrangement will be in place until at least 31 March 2025.

Counter services will be open between 9am-5:30pm Monday – Friday and 9am-12:30pm on Saturdays.

Parcel collection services will be available from 7am-9pm Monday to Saturday and 8am–9pm on Sundays, including bank holidays.

Those who get Treasury welfare payments will be able to collect these from the new location from 10 July.

Peel Post Office in its current location will close on Friday 7 July at 3:30pm.

Manx Radio invited the Isle of Man Post Office to be interviewed about the change - it declined the opportunity.
