Don't be alarmed if you see clouds of steam coming from the Pulrose Power station!
That's the advice as the Manx Electricity Authority continues its essential maintenance work.
The Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Plant has had work carried out on its steam systems and now needs to blast its pipes clean to prevent damage to turbine blades.
Work has been taking place from Monday morning and is likely to continue until the end of the week.
The MEA says despite silencers being fitted, there’ll be significant noise and clouds of steam around the station at the Bowl, Pulrose Bridge and Middle River while steam blasts take place.
These will happen between the hours of 8am and 6pm
