Nurses expected to walk out tomorrow
Manx Care’s executive director of nursing has called on the Royal College of Nursing to agree to independent arbitration to resolve a pay dispute.
Paul Moore has made the plea ahead of the first of three days of strike action – nurses will walk out tomorrow (Thursday) and again in October.
The health body says it’s open to discussions with the union but is unable to offer further pay awards as it’s exhausted its funding budget.
