
Police in the south of the Island are appealing for help to catch those who stole thousands of pounds worth of antique coins.
Officers say between May and July someone took 60 coins from a house in Ballasalla.
Among them are gold half and full sovereigns, a 1921 silver US Dollar and two silver threepenny pieces.
Police are appealing for people to get in touch if they’ve seen any of the coins or have been offered them for sale. If you have any informaiton you can contact Port Erin police station on 832222.
