'Uplifting' conversation in capital tonight
A week highlighting end-of-life issues rounds-off tonight, with what organisers hope will be an 'uplifting meeting about dying'.
Isle of Man Freethinkers have chosen topics raised in Dying Matters Week, as the focus for their monthly disucssion.
The campaign message is that talking about dying makes it more likely you or your loved one will die as you might want.
Islanders have been urged to take about wishes for their final days, make a will or plan a funeral - to make it easier for those left behind.
Among speakers invited to the 6pm Freethinkers' meeting at Douglas Bay Yacht Club is an Island funeral director.
It's a role organiser Vicky Christian says is rarely in the spotlight.
