Charity says communities can help tackle it
There's a call to think of those who are lonely at Christmas, whatever their age.
It comes from the Island branch of Live At Home.
The charity says it will be doing much more to evaluate and try and tackle the issue in general in 2018, but is reminding us that this is a time of year when loneliness can particularly be a problem for some people.
