
Those on board the space shuttle Discovery are keeping their fingers crossed for take-off.
After two delays this week due to the weather and technical problems, it’s hoped the launch to the International Space Station will now go ahead tomorrow morning (Friday).
Among those taking part in the mission, NASA astronaut Nicole Stott, wife of Manxman, ManSat boss Chris Stott, awaiting her maiden voyage.
MLC Alex Downie, the Treasury member with responsibility for space, is in Florida.
He says it’s either launch this week or wait until September.
