A 23 year old Douglas woman who admitted dealing cannabis has been given a 'second chance' by Deemster Doyle.
Victoria Thomas, of Marathon Road, pleaded guilty to numerous offences including cultivating, supplying and possessing the drug.
Almost £1200 in cash as well as cannabis bush and resin worth a similar amount were found when police searched Thomas' home in March last year.
A mobile with a text asking for bush was also uncovered.
Thomas' advocate said she'd got into debt because of her £50 a day weed habit and had tried to reduce what she owed by selling it for her dealer.
Deemster Doyle gave her a 12 month prison sentence, suspended for two years, and warned her to stay away from drugs in the future.
