Hopes discussions can start early in new year
'Jawing, not warring' is the way to approach negotiations with the BBC over the licence fee.
That's the view of Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas.
A recent select committee on public service media in the Isle of Man recommended talks with the BBC should take place, to secure a greater share of the money paid by to the broadcaster by Island residents.
Mr Thomas says things should start to happen with regard to talks in the first few months of 2019.
