Policy and reform minister points to equality act
The minister of policy and reform has admitted the Jury Act 'must be changed' to allow older members of society to complete jury service.
Concerns have been raised about the fact that people over the age of 65 aren't currently allowed to partake.
Chris Thomas says following the introduction of equality legislation on the Island, it's about time those rules were altered accordingly:
