Onchan interruptions a separate issue to last night's 3G/4G outage
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of interruptions to mobile data in the Onchan area.
Manx Telecom says the issue is separate to the 3G and 4G outage that impacted some of its customers last night.
In a statement, the telecoms provider confirmed yesterday evening's issues were caused by a failed component during a software upgrade, which included security updates.
The fault occurred at 11pm, with the networking team having resolved the issue by 11.32pm.
However, Manx Telecom has confirmed a separate issue is impacting a small number of customers around Onchan.
MT says it takes the matter seriously, and is conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the issue in collaboration with its vendors and the Office of Communications.
Manx Telecom is apologising for any inconvenience caused and says it appreciates customers' patience during this time.
