The sun shone down on Tynwald Day today, drawing thousands of people to St John's once official proceedings were over.
They were able to enjoy all the fun of the fair, which featured stalls, displays and demonstrations of music, dance and culture.
Earlier, 18 new laws were promulgated, while seven petitions for redress of grievance were presented.
The Tynwald Honour was presented to Nadine Crowther - for her work with the Isle of Man Hospice and the Anti-Cancer Association - by President of Tynwald Clare Christian.
