
Three candidates will vie for the vacant seat on the Legislative Council in 11 days time.
Retiring member Pamela Crowe, Manx Radio’s political correspondent, David Callister and former international businessman Dr Dick Horsnell will contest the election on March the 18th.
In Tuesday’s first ballot, Mr Callister polled 11 votes with Mrs Crowe and Dr Horsnell each receiving nine.
A successful candidate requires 13 votes.
