'Large amount of Class A and B drugs seized'
Three local men have been arrested on suspicion of drug-related offences following an incident at The Sloc last week.
Police closed the road in the south of the Island for most of the day on Thursday (26 October) while officers carried out an open air search.
At the time they said officers were searching for the occupants of a vehicle they had stopped in the early hours of that morning.
A statement issued today, from the Isle of Man Constabulary, said: 'Following their arrest, and interview, all three men were bailed from the police station pending further enquiries.
'This was as a result of a large amount of Class A and Class B drugs seized from the area where we conducted our searches during the road closure.
'We thank the public again for their patience whilst the road was closed.'
