Three ministers lose seats as 15 newcomers are elected to House of Keys

Voters have had their say in the 2026 General Election

Three ministers have lost their seats in the House of Keys General Election.

Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston, Education Minister Daphne Caine and Environment Minister Clare Barber all lost out in yesterday's vote.

The House will include 15 new MHKs in total, with four constituencies having two new members.

Eight of the MHKs will be women, four of whom have been elected for the first time.

Just two of the 24 members are in parties.
