Takes over from Katel Lord-Brennan MLC
"The buck always stops with the minister."
That's according to Tim Baker MHK, who was officially handed responsibility for Highway Services on the Island yesterday (Mon 30).
He's taken on the new role in addition to being the Department of Infrastructure's member for ports, being chair of Isle of Man Meats, and being chair of the planning committee.
So, does this mean he's now in charge of the refurbishment works on Douglas Promenade?
The Highways Services position has been vacant since the resignation of Kate Lord-Brennan MLC in July.
