Annual event in its 46th year
The 46th annual World Tin Bath Championships took place in Castletown yesterday.
Hundreds flocked to the harbour in the Island's ancient capital to see the tin bath and snake races, and attempts at human-powered flight.
The men's champion was David Watt, who finished ahead of Nick Thornley and Thomas Parry.
The women's title was claimed by Erica Cowin, the nineteenth time she has won it.
Jennifer Chance was second, and Susan Slater third.
More than £5,000 was raised for local charities on the day.
