Manx Radio has been judged the best station of its size in the whole North West region.
In Manchester last night, the Isle of Man's national broadcaster was presented with the Radio Academy Nations and Regions Station of the Year Award, in the under 300,000 listeners category.
Manx Radio made the shortlist last month, and beat off competition from Tameside Radio in Ashton under Lyne to take the prestigious prize.
It now qualifies for the Station of the Year in the 2010 Sony Radio Academy Awards.
A little over a month ago it was revealed Manx Radio had a 54 per cent weekly audience reach, higher than any other station in the British Isles.
