Steve Colley Covid vaccination certificate rejected
Manx champion scrambler Steve Colley came within minutes of being forced to leave Guernsey last night when his Manx Covid vaccination certificates were rejected.
Steve was due to perform in a show.
It was only through enormous efforts from the organisers that he was able to come in, after a short quarantine, sandwiched between two tests:
In response, an Isle of Man Government spokesman says: "We urge everyone who may be travelling beyond the United Kingdom to check that they [have] all the documentation required by the relevant authorities at their destination.
"While we cannot comment on the details of each case, we are aware that individuals have faced challenges while travelling beyond the United Kingdom. We continue to work with colleagues in the United Kingdom towards what we will be a more comprehensive solution to vaccination certification very soon."
