
A local hotelier believes the Island's tourism industry needs a radical overhaul.
Norman Mackey from the Ascot Hotel, says he doesn't agree with the views of the Minister, Adrian Earnshaw, that we need more four and five star hotels.
And Mr Mackey, who was on Tourism Liaison Council during the late eighties and early nineties, says it isn't the case that our leisure facilities are lacking.
He says there's massive room for improvement, and it might be time for the industry to be privately run:
