Ged Power wants to see more done to maintain walking routes on the Island
A member of the Island's tourism sector is asking whether more could be done to improve maintenance on the Island's footpaths.
Ged Power has questioned whether prisoners could be used to help clear some of the less passable areas.
The Department of Infrastructure recently confirmed £700,000 has been allocated to maintain and enhance the Raad ny Foillan over the next five years, following criticism from a visitor.
The DoI has previously funded a scheme with Beach Buddies to include offenders completing community service or serving probation in footpath maintenance.
Mr Power, who has worked with walking groups recently, wants to see progress:
