Permanent road humps could be installed in Castletown
Organisers claim proposed traffic calming measures in Castletown will have a severe impact on rally events on the Island.
A number of permanent road humps could be installed early next year if plans to clamp down on speeding are approved.
That would mean an iconic rally stage, which runs through the town, would be unable to go ahead.
President of Manx Autosport, Mark Ellison, says it would have huge consequences:
Police bail for two people arrested in Ramsey incident
WCAS to extend opening hours next month
Assisted Dying Bill still on track, says mover
Period Products Bill 'changed drastically' but core principles remain, says MHK
Persistent rain is making life difficult for Manx farmers
