Section of Peel Road to be temporarily one-way
There's likely to be some traffic disruption in the heart of Douglas this week, as Manx Utilities carries out sewer works on Peel Road.
From 6pm on Sunday (12 Aug) until 6pm next Friday (17 Aug), a section of Peel Road will become one way, from the Railway Station opposite the end of Atholl Street, up to the junction next to the Brown Bobby petrol station.
In an attempt to ease traffic flow, parking will be forbidden along St George's Street, to offer drivers coming in from the west an alternative route.
