MUA mains work on key route
Road works on a main arterial route in the Island will likely slow journeys between Douglas and the south today (25 Oct).
Manx Utilities is carrying out essential mains works at Richmond Hill on the New Castletown Road.
The north or Douglas-bound lane is closed and the south-bound lane has a contra-flow in place.
Drivers are reminded they must observe speed limits in the road works, or risk a penalty.
The Road Safety Unit is asking motorists to consider the safety of workers in coned-off areas.
