No cars or parking - until Feb 2019
Drivers heading to the south of the Island may come across new traffic restrictions, in place from today (Sat 1).
The Infrastructure Department has prohibited traffic on Breakwater Road in Port Erin, between the Lifeboat Station and the western boundary of the old Marine Biological Centre.
No cars will be allowed to enter the one-way system there, or park in the area - the only exception to that rule is for RNLI and coastguard vehicles, as well as access for emergency vehicles and others with the permission for the department.
These restrictions are set to be in place all winter - until the end of February next year.
